Green Men In The Saucers (Poem by Vinh Nguyen)   

Just another poem I’d written thus far.  Enjoy!

Out there a little green man,
with a space binocular he probes,
down onto earth he probes,
so he could see what we are up to.

Such imagination we have,
here on earth we hope,
somebody out there in space,
would give us a creep.

So keep on looking up,
into the stars we’re searching,
just for anything would give us the creep,
anything would exorcise our loneliness.

Perhaps we should think again,
maybe we’re just keeping up with the programs,
as machines crank away,
green men warmly smile at their marvels.

Green men don’t even know,
how smart their machines have become,
for now they’re looking for their creators,
so called green men in the saucers.
