Rise of the Tomb Raider Gameplay Episode 1 (4K, Ultra HD – PC)

Hello there, I’m playing Rise of the Tomb Raider in 4K resolution on PC with all graphics settings at maximum.  In case people would ask me what is the spec of my computer rig, here it is:

  • i7,
  • super clocked Titan X,
  • 32 GB of RAM,
  • external hard drive for recording game,
  • one internal hard drive for OS,
  • another internal hard drive for games’ installations,
  • a 4K monitor,
  • and everything else is rather standard.

I played the first Tomb Raider reboot that came out in 2013, and I loved it a lot.  So far, this game hasn’t yet let me down in term of continuing the expansion of Lara’s adventure from the 2013’s one.  When I played the 2013’s Tomb Raider, I didn’t really play in true 4K resolution.  This game though, I’m playing it with true 4K resolution since I’d upgraded my graphics card to SC Titan X.

I have to say this game’s graphics is beautiful.  The gameplay is very similar to the 2013’s one.  This isn’t an issue, because the 2013’s Tomb Raider got good gameplay’s mechanism.  It’s a plus for this game to not stray too far from 2013’s one in term of gameplay mechanism.  The graphics though, is definitely an upgrade.

I can’t say about the storyline so far, because this is my first gameplay episode of Rise of the Tomb Raider.  Anyhow, I sure hope you’re enjoying watching this gameplay video.
