By Whose Design Came Us Beasts

Just something I pondered about…

  • As much as we’d discovered
  • as much as we’d explored
  • as much as we’d thought of
  • as much as we’d been told
  • as much as we’d believed
  • so we thought we knew much more
  • we knew a lot we’d think
  • and yet unsure crept in
  • unsure of the point of origin
  • unsure how things were arrived
  • unsure of who we were
  • we knew so much we believed
  • and yet we’d not a clue of who us beasts
  • why there had always been beasts
  • why there had always been earth
  • we called science to arm
  • the explanation of beasts on two feet
  • and who’d feed with two hands
  • we called science to arm
  • the explanation of earth existence
  • a marble which formed from a collection of stardust
  • nonetheless, by whose design came us beasts
  • by whose design came the dreamers
  • by whose design that greed ran amok
  • by whose design a twinkle little star would shimmer
  • by whose design things be things
  • by whose design us beasts got nothing on origin
  • naive so we were
  • under scrutiny came the mysteries
  • we thought we knew ’em all
  • yet here we were so clueless
  • therefore we would guess and fantasize
  • we would think we were this and that
  • but nothing had revealed us true beasts
  • science could only theorize so much
  • God could only soothe the beasts so far
  • discovers were plenty but none was origin relevant
  • the rest would be more guess works
  • by arrogance we thought we knew ’em all
  • had we ever pondered on what if
  • if by different design
  • we might have three feet to walk on
  • we might have five hands to feed
  • nonetheless, we would think we knew ’em all
