According to VentureBeat, Bitcoin’s popularity as an alternative currency has the governments around the world on edge. China banned Bitcoin from its country. VentureBeat suggests that United States are going to do the same thing. The complain that the United States has against Bitcoin is that criminals are using this very virtual currency to cover up their trails. It’s harder for the governments to sneak up on criminals in term of following the cash trail if the criminals are using Bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn’t leave fingerprints behind, because there isn’t a bank involved with Bitcoin, but it’s more of a peer to peer kind of transaction. – I’d written about Bitcoin back in December 12 of 2010, and the article’s title is “Bitcoin, Another Virtual Currency To Take On The World.”
