What Chaos Theory And Determinism Have To Do With Infinite And The Scale Of A Universe?

I don’t pretend to know much about Chaos Theory, and what I’ve learned more of it is from the documentary “The Secret Life of Chaos” (2017) directed by Nic Stacey.  From this documentary I learned of the people like Alan Turing whose lifeworks had big impact on how we perceive of Chaos Theory today.  Before I even knew about Chaos Theory and the definition of deterministic system of a philosophical doctrine, I have had thoughts of my own in regarding to things that can be counted within both observable and unobservable universes.  By reading a bit into Chaos Theory and the definition of deterministic system, I’ve come to a realization that Chaos Theory and deterministic system together as a unit which resembles a perfect marriage.

When you think of Chaos Theory, you think of simple elements that can be counted yet these elements have the potential of creating unpredictable combination in nature and elsewhere.  For an example, if you take a look at a huge tree with many branches, the whole tree does look like a complex pattern, but if you take a closer look at the tree the elements can be break down into very simple similar patterns.  Nonetheless, the branches on the tree are unpredictably formed in countless simple patterns that together they make the tree to be a more complex feature.  The predictability in the picture of a tree which forms by unpredictable patterns of branches is the tree and branches themselves.  This is the side of deterministic system.

Without a brain like a human being, yet the branches on the tree know how to self-organized into similar branches with different patterns to form a predictable outcome as a tree.  Chaos Theory suggests that most things in nature can be simple and unpredictable yet self-organized to form predictable features, thus nature isn’t like a clockwork machine in which the gears would always be turned in the same directions.  Hint this is why I realized Chaos Theory and deterministic system together as a perfect marriage.  For your information, people are using Chaos Theory to study human’s heart, animal skins’ patterns, weathers, and whatnot.

My own thoughts now come into the mix in regarding to all of this.  I have always thought of both observable and unobservable universes can be broken down into elements that can be counted and summed it all up.  What do I mean by this?  If we can think of 1 + 1 equal 2, then we can think of every element in the universe can be thrown onto a scale for weighing and summation.  Nonetheless, I also do think these elements in each of themselves have behaviors and features that create potential for probable outcomes.  Thus I think we can count up all elements within the universe if we can be sure of all the potentials and probabilities there are within a universe.  We must also remember that each element can combine with another and many others to form new elements, thus the potentials and probabilities like these must be accounted for within the equation too.

I may have misunderstood in one aspect of Chaos Theory is that I think Chaos Theory suggests that the unpredictability side of things cannot be accounted for in any math, but the potentials and probabilities are there for the unpredictability to become predictability once the whole picture is formed.  For me, I think it’s absurd that the potentials and the probabilities within the universe are endless and infinite.  I think if the universe is truly endless and infinite, then why not earth in the first place be just it and the sun, stars, and everything else shouldn’t be existed in the first place.  I think we can agree on that if we have a powerful enough machine we could sum up all elements within planet earth to eventually have them weigh on a single scale to come up with an exact number of how much earth is made of right?  I think the universe is in this manner too.

If what I’ve been stated thus far are all true, should infinite be a number which we can weigh?

Thus, I think the potentials and probabilities of what exist cannot be endless and limitless, and here is where I determine that if we have a powerful enough machine we can too put a universe on a scale for weighing.  Furthermore, since the potentials and probabilities are not infinite, so there must be other universes out there.  Since the potentials and probabilities are capable to form within our imagination — I think Chaos Theory should agree with me that human conscious is the byproduct of the potentials and the probabilities of the system we’re in — I think our imagination of limited universe is too within the potentials and probabilities of the system.  Otherwise, our imagination wouldn’t allow us to imagine the universe is limited.  Here is what I think next, there shouldn’t be a law that limits the shape and size of a universe unless the potentials and probabilities of such are not existed.  Who say earth is round and the universe cannot be square?  Perhaps, another universe is square and ours is in a very weird shape which we have no word to describe such a shape.

Stupid Theory Tries To Claim Terracotta Army Was Inspired By Greece

Recently, there is this stupid theory tries to claim Terracotta Army that guards Chinese first emperor’s afterlife got inspiration from Greece.  Even now I think it’s really a lame theory, border beyond jokes.  Whoever repeats this theory in my eyes is the stupidest person on earth.  You know the chance for the right person with the right knowledge to transfer such inspiration from the far flung West to far flung East — in the ancient time in which traveling from one neighboring country to another was so difficult — is slim to nil.  Even the Romans themselves much later couldn’t even meet up with the Chinese.  Yet here we have a stupidest theory on earth, with no evidence whatsoever, suggests that an ancient person from Greece traveled to China to spread an art form in which inspired the Terracotta Army.  As if it’s a blaspheme for another region on earth to create beautiful art, because there should be none other than the West that could come up with such an art form.  Furthermore, how stupid can you be to not see that replicating a real life size figure is not that hard.  After all, you got a real soldier in real armor and weapons in detail, how hard is it to not be able to replicate such figure into art form such as life size figurine creation?  If Greece was the inspiration, why Greece didn’t have the Terracotta Army themselves?  When you look at Greece’s ancient sculptures, these figures got naked bodies and such — emphasizing masculinity.  When I look at Terracotta Army figures, I see soldiers in ancient Chinese uniforms with Asian characteristics, and these figures don’t look like the Greece’s ancient sculptures at all.  I guess the people who suggest the theory I’m bashing of are the people who are too stupid to even imagine that another human being could come up with similar art form.  Enough rant, because even I feel stupider for trying to defend the truth from such an idiotic theory.  Check out the video right after the break if you brave enough to get a dosage of stupidness.

Imagine Time As A Tide Medium To Record Bookmarks Of Time For A Universe, But What About The Sum Of Infinite Natural Numbers Equal To -1/12 or -1/8?

Watching “Sum of Natural Numbers (second proof and extra footage)” video on YouTube, and I’m amused how the proof got to an answer of -1/12 for the summation of 1+2+3+4+n… (i.e., n to the infinity).  Part of the proof, the professor uses the geometric series (if I’m not wrong about this to be geometric series) of — 1+x+x^2+x^3+x^n… (as n to the infinity) equal to 1/1-x — to manipulate more numbers in more ways to come up with -1/12 as the answer to the sum of the infinite basic numbers such as 1+2+3+4+n… (as n to the infinity).  So, I guess if the proof in which the professor explains in the video is correct, adding basic items in a series to the infinity would equate to -1/12.  Nonetheless, what mind-blowing about this is that adding all the positive things yet it turns out to be a negative thing as in -1/12 (negative for sure).  Check out this video right after the break.

What is even more nifty is that I found another video on YouTube which relies on the video above to refute the -1/12 answer to the sum of positive things, and the video would argue that -1/8 is the real answer to this scenario.  Well, by now I’m totally confused by both videos for sure.  So, is it -1/12 is the answer to 1+2+3+4+n… (to the infinity) or the answer would be -1/8?  Check out the next video right after the break.

Anyway, it’s quite amusing, and I’m not sure if I’m ever going to be able to understand this proof.  Anyhow, maybe someday my mind will be a little brighter than now and I’ll definitely see how -1/12 would be the answer of the sum of infinite positive numbers.  Or is it that only the sum of all positive number series would equate to -1/12 or -1/8, but adding non-series numbers in total to the infinity would not equate to such answer?  But, all numbers like natural numbers can always be counted to the positive, thus does it really matter that non-series numbers in total to the infinity would turn out to be any differently than -1/12 or -1/8?

Honesty:

To be honest, I was wondering about how time and space can be infinite or not, and a similar question on Quora (Can time be infinite and space be finite?) got an answer which directs me to the first YouTube video which I had posted near the very top of this blog post.  Yep, that’s how I found out about these videos.

Personal thought:

Right now, I imagine time as in a single tide travels to an imaginative beach in which this beach got no sand barrier to block the tide, and this tide would ride on into the infinity and would never be able to hit against the sand barrier of the beach.  I imagine that each tide is a time.  Thus with this imagination I can conclude that each tide is an origin which represents a time medium.  Nonetheless, this time tide medium isn’t a regular tide, and so it would have history of time, like bookmarks of time.  Anything which rides upon the time tide medium would move forward with time, but leave history in bookmarks of time tide medium.  This imagination would allow me to go further by concluding that I can travel in time by revisiting the bookmarks of time tide medium, or perhaps I can jump to another time tide medium to visit the bookmarks of time of not my own altogether.  If this is possible, does it mean jumping to another time tide medium would mean escaping the current universe?  After all, I assume that different universe should allow a different behavior of time tide medium, because each time tide medium could behave differently altogether.  Anyway, this whole crazy mess I just ranted on is my imagination, and it has no proof of anything — meaning it’s nothing in reality and just an imagination (i.e., a fairy tale).

Traveling Within A Network of Multiple Infinite Universes

With a pen and if you’re willing, you can write 0 and 1 into the infinity on an infinite, long paper.  With all of those 0s and 1s, you can basically form infinite patterns that represent whatever you want.  Our computer is much more complicate than using a pen to write down 0s and 1s pattern to form software, because it involves much more than just a pen.  Nonetheless, in theory, if a computer is strong enough, it can create 0s and 1s into the infinity to form a software of infinite.

In my mind, I imagine an infinitely strong computer as a universe.  The 0s and 1s — that form patterns — form up humans, planets, thoughts, and whatnot.  So in theory, if a computer as a universe that can write infinite amount of 0s and 1s without stopping, isn’t it creating an infinite universe?  Nonetheless, I can also imagine we have multiple infinitely strong computers which can create infinite 0s and 1s.  Isn’t this mean we have multiple infinite universes?  And if we can network these universes together in a Local Area Network, isn’t this allowing intelligent beings to travel between universes?  Just like data of 0s and 1s.

Although our existence is made of elements on periodic table, but how do we know the periodic table consists of all the possible elements there are in a universe?  After all, patterns can be formed infinitely in theory. We can already theoretically theorize how an infinitely strong computer can form infinite patterns with just 0s and 1s, and so it’s also possible for us to imagine the basic elements that form the higher elements can also multiply as if 0s and 1s, consequently forming infinite elemental forms within a universe.

I raise all sorts of interesting points about how infinite 0s and 1s can be, because I’m very curious of how infinite our universe would be.  Furthermore, I wonder is it possible that there are multiple if not infinite universes out there.  To go one step further, 0s and 1s existences in this universe are possible for there are those earliest basic elements that formed from the beginning of time since the birth of this universe.  This means, the universe herself probably is an expert in 0s and 1s.  I suspect the universe herself is infinite.  Nonetheless, if she is being networked within a web of universes, perhaps us intelligent beings (among others) are capable in traveling between multiple infinite universes in the future.

Chicken And Egg Theory Marches On!

When an egg decides to hatch a chick, an egg must have wondering who’d hatched it.  When we human beings came to being, we probably had wondered countless time who hatched us, right?  Furthermore, we probably had wondered about the purposes of all the wonders on this earth and within this universe.  For an example, we must have thought hard about the perfect marriage of male and female of all types of beings.  Furthermore, when there is day, night must follow soon.  Furthermore, these creations are for whom to enjoy?

With the chicken and egg curiosity, groups of different society within human population decided to form their own religions to explain the universe and all of its secrets.  Then science came to prominent, and it was too intended that it was a more proper way of approaching the chicken and egg curiosity.  Still, so far there is yet a satisfactory explanation to this chicken and egg question of our universe.  Whenever a specific religion or science tries to explain the chicken and egg curiosity, a complete satisfactory explanation isn’t really realized.

For an example, if a religion said that their God had created this universe, then we must have to wonder who had created God?  If a science said that Big Bang had created this universe, then we must have to wonder who had created Big Bang?  This curiosity seems like a question that cannot be answered clearly, because the chicken and egg theory can go into an infinity.  Furthermore, we have to wonder, if there is night, then there is day…  if there is infinity, then there is a limitation.  So, I guess if we are to be clever, we must have wondered the chicken and egg curiosity must have a finite explanation.

Still, I have to wonder, can an infinity gives birth to a finite existence, and then a finite existence would in turn giving birth to an infinity?  Otherwise, how can we explain what had given birth to an infinity?  Thus, the chicken and egg curiosity marches on!
