I’ve found out Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 to be very effective in editing videos that generated by Fraps.  To my surprise and amazement, Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 was rather responsive when working with Fraps videos, and it retained Fraps videos’ quality rather well.  Fraps usually generated very big AVI movie files as Fraps only slightly compressed its videos since there wasn’t enough time for the videos to be fully compressed when recording video games.  Usually, I would edit Fraps’ huge video files with either Avid Studio or Windows Live Movie Maker, but recently these two video editor software refused to work with certain Fraps video files that I got.  Luckily, I found Cyberlink PowerDirector 10’s free trial and used it, and to my astonishment it was more responsive in editing the Fraps video files.  Also, since I used the 64 bit version of Cyberlink PowerDirector 10, I noticed the export of the movies seemed to be faster than Avid Studio or Windows Live Movie Maker.  Avid Studio and Windows Live Movie Maker have not yet supported 64 bit computing architecture, therefore you won’t find these two come in 64 bit versions.  The Fraps movie files that I edited with Cyberlink PowerDirector came out gorgeously.  They came out in 1920x1080p high definition resolution, and the generation process of these videos in Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 was definitely quicker than what I had experienced with some other video editors.  The video right after the break was the one that I edited with Cyberlink PowerDirector 10.
