According to MSNBC, ‘Slavery: The Game’ might be a hoax. A trailer which is available on YouTube promotes the game that promotes gamers to buy slaves and become the best and the wealthiest slave owners of the 17th century in Europe. Anyhow, check out the YouTube’s controversial game trailer right after the break.
MSNBC thinks this is a hoax, because nobody knows the real creator of this trailer. No big game franchise has yet claimed that the controversial game trailer is belonging to their company. It’s obvious to see why nobody wants to even think about making such a game let alone having a title as ‘Slavery: The Game’ unless there is a game company that needs attention so bad that a little negative controversial will do them some good in the negative way, I guess.
Perhaps, there is a game company that wants to release this controversial game trailer to probe potential audiences? Well, it’s a theory of mine which has no concrete evidence whatsoever. It’s an interesting thought though, I think. Anyhow, if this trailer isn’t a hoax as MSNBC has suggested, then ‘Slavery: The Game’ is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3.
