According to here, Dish Network’s customers will not have to pay extra cost for getting live TV on their mobile devices. If the information from the source above is correct, iPad and iPhone and Blackberry users will be able to stream live TV in September from Dish Network. Android users won’t be able to stream live TV from Dish Network until October.
The idea of streaming free live TV to mobile devices is awesome and catchy, but it’s not exactly FREE. To get live TV from Dish Network, you have to be a Dish Network’s subscriber for regular devices such as a TV. To stream the Dish Network live TV over mobile devices, you need to download a free application from Dish Network.
I thought the entertainment industry should have done this a long time ago! Don’t they want more free traffic so they can advertise their network to advertisers? It’s not a fiction but it’s a fact that there are hundred of millions (I don’t know the exact number but I know it’s a huge number) of mobile phone users and other mobile device users are out there! It’s only a matter of can they handle the bandwidth? (And I don’t know what I’m talking about
~) Source.

It’s really cool that all it takes is a simple Sling Adapter purchase ($99), DISH Network services, and a free phone app download to instantly view live and recorded TV straight through your phone! I work and subscribe with DISH so I ordered one immediately and have been watching TV on my phone on the go for a while now. It’s great and I love it! I never miss any of my favorite football games now, and I love having the option to watch live news while waiting for the bus on my way home from work!
