This year could be the year that Google has to struggle against the competitors. Don’t overlook this folk! Although Microsoft’s Bing is no where near the level of intimidation, but by underestimating Bing which has grabbing some more shares of the search market, Google may find a real competitor that is going to be a real pain in the __blank. Microsoft is up to its old trick again by trying to becoming a pawn in the fierce rivalry battle between Google and Apple — Engadget is telling a story that Apple may drop Google Search from iPhone to adopt Bing Search. We all know that iPhone is still one of the kings which rules over one of the huge mobile lands with huge mobile population. Bing is definitely drooling over the possibility of gaining even more search market’s shares through iPhone’s users.
Google is also have to worry about should it stay in China or pulling out completely! Although Baidu, a Chinese search engine, is overpowering Google in China, but by pulling out of China Google will have no chance to even further compete against any competitor in China. Why is this important? China is currently a focus point where all comes to set up camps, and this means money is sure flowing in and out of China in huge amount. If Google is pulling out of China (in all facets), I think it’s one biggest mistake that Google has ever made! Microsoft is an old fox that knows many tricks, and by staying in China and somewhat stays aloof from Google by not offering any sympathy to Google’s “no more China” decision — it shows that this is one of the tricks that Microsoft uses for its 2010 overseas strategy. Also, Google may not be able to offer its Nexus One to huge Chinese population since it decides it may have to leave China (in all facets).
Yes, Google’s Nexus One is not something Apple welcomes, and so the rumor has that Apple soon releases iPhone 4G (a newer version) to wrestle down Nexus One. Google’s territory is the Web, but the unfamiliar territory such as hardware where Apple is the expert, Google may find it has to fight a really fierce battle than ever before. Google is one of my favorite tech companies, and so I hope Google won’t do so bad in 2010′s fierce competitions (a little bias from me).
