Serious Twitter's Users Need Not Knowing Twitter's Ranking

People on Twitter who have most followers, most reach, high rate of Twitter’s users becoming followers, and so on are determined to be the most influential people on Twitter by various services that set out to judge and rank Twitter’s users.  This is almost like the same song that people have been singing for search engine ranking.  Naturally, many people would have think that by knowing their places on Twitter, they would have an advantage in manipulating Twitter to fit their purposes.  Unfortunately, I think even if these people know their Twitter’s rankings, nothing much could help them besides encouraging them to put more value into their tweets as usual.  A serious Twitter’s user would have known from the beginning that ranking doesn’t matter if he or she could not provide the valuable tweets.  It all started from there.

You can say the same thing with search engine!  The more a person tries to manipulate the search engine, the more a person loses his or her way from obtaining the search engine effects that he or she has always aiming for.  Instead of manipulating a search engine, a website owner should always put effort in providing valuable contents and services to website visitors; extra effort won’t go to waste since the word of mouth is one thing that I believe nothing could compare to.  Although this might be a myth, Google also recognizes that its early success was all from the word of mouth phenomenon.  Naturally, search engines crawl heavy traffic websites and websites that are rich in contents frequently.  It’s not like a website that got busy through the word of mouth solution desperately need search engines’ traffics; then again, the more the merrier.

In conclusion, I think Twitter’s users who treasure the meanings of the messages that they profess through tweets and who need not care of Twitter’s ranking and who don’t mind of being named as “highly influential person” may likely be achieving what they have been aiming for in the first place through Twitter.  It’s almost the same for website owners without further ado in saying much.  Still, it’s quite addictive and fun to know your places in Twitter, here is the post from PCWorld which lists services that help people in finding their Twitter’s ranking.
