I’m confidently predicting that mobile devices (e.g., smart phones) get better with time when coming down to web display.  Does this mean website owners need not to worry about a strip down version of their websites for web display on mobile devices?  While we chatting, not everyone is the owner of an iPhone or a Nexus One, and so website owners could miss out a huge chunk of web customers and visitors.  Few basic tips to keep a website friendly for mobile devices are removing heavy images, using screen space wisely, feeding different CSS instructions for different mobile devices, and more tips can be found here.
