iPhone and iPod Touch users won’t have a problem of downloading and installing an application that they like, but there are way too many applications for choosing. No one wants to waste time in looking through countless of applications, downloading the applications just to find out that those aren’t needed, and so programs like App Judgment from Revision 3 and websites that review iPhone applications were born to somewhat alleviate too-many-app-problem. Now we can add one more to the list of iPhone’s application review services, and it’s something we now know as Chomp.
Chomp is an application itself that you can download from iPhone’s App Store, and by installing Chomp on your iPhone, you be informed about other iPhone’s applications (iPod Touch compatible). Chomp allows you to review applications, read other reviewed applications in real time (sort of like Twitter), follow reviewers, search for reviewers and email addresses and keywords, see who is following you, connect to Facebook, check applications’ recommendations, and bookmark an application. If you somewhat are familiar with Twitter, you will find Chomp easy to use and informative. I think it’s not a bad application to have on your iPhone and iPod Touch at all. I recommend this! Still, I would love to hear your story about Chomp in comments. For an example, how you like Chomp? (What are the drawbacks and the strengths that Chomp has? So on and so on…) Source.
