Another weird refusal from customer support, and this time is from Apple (again).  A woman known by her first name as Alisa who was robbed on the way home, she lost many things included an iPhone.  She didn’t want to file a police report, because she had a final to study on, and the police precinct was like an hour away from her robbed location.  Later on, she found out that an iPhone of her was in the hand of Apple’s repair department, and she wanted it back.  Apple refused to return the iPhone to the rightfully owner and basically told Alisa to forget her iPhone since she forgot to file a police report.  Even after she had filed a police report, Apple still refused to return the iPhone to her.  Although Apple feared that returning the iPhone to the wrong owner could be a legal mess, because iPhone could have had personal information and other sensitive information; still, Apple could have taken extra measure (I don’t know what) to make sure the iPhone could be in the hand of the rightfully owner once again, and in this case — Alisa had contacted the police and Apple to claim the iPhone.  What you think?  Source.
