The cat is now out of the bag, a new LG 42 inch LCD flat screen TV is only 0.10 inch thick.  The specification is not yet readily available.  Compare this to an old heavy-big CRT TV lies unused in my garage is like a horse to a Porsche.  Expect it to be expensive too, but if you could afford something like this, why not right?  After all, you can always brag about it when special occasions such as the Super Bowl and World Cup and the likes come knocking; these events are the perfect opportunities to gather jealous friends in a living room to adore your expensive 0.10 inch thick flat screen TV; just make sure they do not get over exciting and start to grab your almost weightless new LG LCD and throw it as if it’s a football flying down the field.  Source.
