Apple has done extremely well of driving music contents for sales over iTunes, but Apple makes more money by selling iPhones, iPod Touchs/iPods, and soon maybe Apple tablets. This gives Apple the idea of pushing even harder in a way that people will be forever attached to Apple’s devices by coming up with the idea of providing cable contents over the Internet. The TV/cable contents will be available on Apple’s devices only — of course, and Apple may charge a subscription fee but much cheaper than current cable companies. Users have the option of exploding the devices’ contents to the huge flat screen TVs if their flat screen TVs support some type of pair up connection to Apple’s devices (if it ain’t available now, it will eventually). Let cross our fingers because Apple is haggling for deals with various television networks to make this idea turns real in 2010 for all of us. Have no doubt that cable companies are watching this new volcano eruption quite closely since it kind of hitting closer to home. Source.
