Whenever something is free to use on Windows, “Oh no!” brain cells of mine go haywire in fear of computer viruses. My brain cells had been wired to go easy on Linux’s free software, because as long you install software from the well known open source developers or from the repositories that come along with a Linux flavor that you’re using, most likely those are safe to install. Sometimes, I have to admit that Windows has its moments too. I figured Cnet is a well trusted technology website and Cnet even tested that Free HD Converter is free from spyware, this got to be a very cool application that’s free for Windows users. I could be wrong, but if you’re using Free HD Converter to convert files from camcorders to the formats (i.e., AVI, MPEG2, DVD, MP4, etc…) that you can put onto your computer for video editing without a hitch, don’t forget to write good comments about this free application, because you may rarely have a chance to write good comments on free things that go on Windows. If you have a problem with this software, people need to hear the problems from you too, so feel free to comment about the side effects of Free HD Converter. To download Free HD Converter, you can go to Cnet and download it.
