Yahoo terminates Geocities to favor its pay web hosting service. Geocities was one of those first free web hosting services, and for some people, Geocities was their first taste of HTML. As the trend goes, will one day free blog hosting service will be outdated in favor for paid blog hosting service? Geocities was one of the biggest free web hosting services around but is no more, will other free web hosting services be around for some time to come?
