I find it hard for content creators now a day to demand money from its readers when come to the world wide web content distribution and usage. But this is what exactly Rupert Murdoch, a media conglomerate mogul, and Associated Press chief Tom Curley demand. A huge amount of people prefer to spend their time on news websites that have social network interaction such as Digg, Newsvine, and so on. Another huge amount of people prefer user generate contents from YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. In the past months, Twitter was the first to report major breaking news events, and the traditional media were the ones that had to suck it up. To simply put, the power to dictate what is news worthy is no longer in the hands of the media moguls, but it is in the hands of everyone. Even if the traditional media moguls like Rupert Murdoch charge a sum of money for content, the people who don’t want to pay for news can still get their news on lesser known websites. Paid contents now a day better be… than just good, or else…
