FTC Warns Bloggers and Celebrities Disclose Their Endorsements Or Face Fine

FTC (Federal Trade Commission) releases a new update Guides Governing Endorsements and Testimonials.  Technological speaking, if you are familiar with a blog, and you are running a blog, when you endorse a product of a company or a brand, make sure you let your blog readers know that you are receiving freebies from that specific company or brand.  If not doing so, you may face a fine up to $11,000.  FTC also warns that the rules in the new Guides are also applied to celebrities.  Celebrities need to disclose that they are in fact endorse products for companies, or else they may face the same fine as bloggers.  Source.
