AT&T's Apology And MMS's Promise

On September 4, 2009, in Apple, Mobile, by admin

I guess there are many people complaining about poor service and network performance from AT&T and its network through the using of iPhone, in fact the complaints are loud enough and widespread all over the web that AT&T had sent out a nerdy looking dude to apologize to everyone on YouTube.  The dude also said that AT&T is revving up its network by increasing budget for future development for its network and especially for MMS in 10 of billions of dollars.

September 25th, AT&T will officially launch MMS service for all iPhone users.  Maybe AT&T will provide MMS for free as long iPhone’s users have SMS plan.  Then again, don’t take my words for this as I’m not sure about AT&T provides free MMS, and so if you are one of those iPhone users and want to utilize MMS, please ask them :) !  If they’ve an answer about FREE MMS, then please post a comment and let me know, I’m sure to update the info on this post.

MMS is a step up for end user practicality and enjoyment, but it’s also a step up for AT&T network in terms of cost and engineering.  MMS allows wireless users to send bigger and more costly messages (data) without data size limitation, and I suspect this technology involves with videos, audios, and other bandwidth hogging data.
